Community Honors W. K. Kellogg
In honor of Will Keith Kellogg's sesquicentennial birthday, April 7, 2010, a collaborative effort of our outstanding local arts and culture venues have come together to showcase their talents and beauty to celebrate his legacy throughout the year. The community events begin in March with a tribute issue of Scene Magazine, a Battle Creek Symphony tribute to W.K. that will include an unveiling of a public art sculpture model that embodies grain, W.K. Kellogg's commitment to children, and his global perspective.

"a mermaid affair - celebration of water" encompasses three multi-media arts/culture exhibits, "Mermaids of the Seven Seas", "Water Wonderland" and "Fantasy Mermaids", along with complementary existing & special events and activities that run June 1 thru August 31, 2010 in the Battle Creek/Calhoun County area of southwest Michigan, USA.
