The 2012 International Festival of Lights will again return in all its beauty with many new LED lighting structures. One of the most popular displays is the Twelve days of Christmas which is located on the back lawn of the W. K. Kellogg Foundation. Nightly, children romp through the structures singing and enjoying quality family time together. Enjoy the beauty of the lights in and around downtown Battle Creek. In addition to a nightly stroll through the beautiful lights, the six-week event will include the following:

Holiday Nights at Binder Park Zoo
December 14 - 16, December 20 - 23, 4:30 p.m.
Hop on the Trolley for a FREE RIDE to Binder Park Zoo for "Holiday Nights." Trolley leaves the Parking Lot just north of Clara's on the River at 4: 30 p.m., for the Zoo and returns at 8:00 p.m. Reservations are required. Call 269.420.4031. Cost to enter the Zoo is $5/non members; $4/members
Residential Lighting Competition
November 17 - December 15, 2012
Let's expand the beauty of the holiday season by residential lighting. Decorate your house and enter in the IFOL's Residential Lighting Competition. CASH PRIZES. FREE ENTRY.

Ice Carving Exhibition
December 22, 2012 Noon - 5:00 p.m.
Mill Race Park
See the beauty and talent of ice carvers as they carve beautiful sculptures out a block of ice. Interact with the carvers for additional fun.
Igloo Snow Castle Building
A fun activity for children to build snow castles during the Ice Carving Exhibition. Molds will be provided for use. This Event is contingent upon the availability of Mother Nature providing the snow.
Computerized light and music show
Mill Race Park
This awe-inspiring Show is a gift to the community and visitors by the W. K. Kellogg Foundation. This Show runs continuously every night.
Warming House
Friday - Sunday 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m
To warm up, stop in the Warming House for a complimentary cup of hot cocoa and cookies while enjoying the IFOL Train, international trees and special activities.
Groups interested in decorating a holiday tree for exhibit in the Warming House, please contact the Festival Manager at 269.420.4031. Trees are provided and the organization's name will be displayed.
