Battle Creek’s International Summer Fest is an opportunity to experience and celebrate cultures from around the world. Originally created by the Battle Creek Area International Relations Committee, this incredible event brings people together to discover and appreciate the wonderful differences that make us all unique, and the strong ties of family, community and history that ultimately bind us together! Through delicious international foods and world-class entertainment, this fun and exciting festival offers a fantastic opportunity for cultural and ethnic exchange. Summer Fest provides a perfect venue for broadening awareness and strengthening relationships for the enrichment of the Battle Creek community. So bring your family, friends and neighbors to discover even more! Don’t miss the sights, sounds and flavors of this festival designed for ALL to enjoy!

Should you wish to sell food you will need to obtain a Temporary Food License from the Calhoun County Health Department. Also keep in mind this is a great fundraiser as all the proceeds are yours or your organization's to keep.

The International SummerFest kicks off Friday evening in partnership with Vibe@5 in Friendship Park!

Learn how to Salsa or Merengue and Bachata with dance instructor Paulette Rieger while enjoying the music of dynamic Latin band Orquesta Tradicion. Fun for all ages (and skill levels)!

This year’s festival will feature a diverse roster of local, regional, and international entertainment, food and craft vendors, kids’ inflatables zone, community services/resources, and PNC Bank’s interactive family mobile unit and display. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy this fun and enriching event!

  • Admission – FREE
  • Food & Craft – prices vary per vendor
  • Inflatables Zone for Ages 2 and up – $5/child; fee good for entire day. Socks are required for entry onto inflatables.
